Activities at White Saddle Country Inn
There are plenty of activities to choose from at White Saddle besides relaxing!

The Trails
Stunning vistas everywhere you go, with pristine glacial lakes and rugged mountains to explore. Simply choose a trail in the valley bottom or high alpine and go   hiking or mountain biking.

Take your camera to photograph both the wildlife and the breathtaking alpine flowers. Backcountry hiking will take you into old growth forests and valley wetlands that are home to a wide variety of birdlife, mule deer, moose, mountain goat, grizzly and black bears.

The Lakes
Along with Bluff Lake, there are Horn Lake and Sapeye Lake nearby, all well-known for their fabulous Rainbow and Bull Trout fishing. Perhaps just go canoeing or kayaking and enjoy a relaxing day out on the water.

Horseback or Trail Riding
We would be happy to arrange for a horseback ride with one of our local operators that can offer you an enjoyable ride with an experienced guide.

Also located at the ranch is the White Saddle Air Services base which has two helicopters, a Bell Long Ranger and Bell 407, and offers the opportunity to fly into back country that would otherwise be inaccessible.

The Coast Mountain Range is one of the most spectacular in the world and offers the mountaineer, heli hiker and skier as well as movie maker views of stunning beauty and breathtaking magnificence.

The Alpine Cabin
A ten-minute helicopter ride or an 8-hour hike gets you to our wilderness cabin high in the alpine. The cabin is fully stocked with a wood stove, cooking facilities, propane lighting, outdoor biffy and accommodates 4-6 adventurers. From here you can hike to the tune of the whistling marmots through alpine flowers right to the snow line.

Winter Sports & The Adrenaline Rush
We are happy to provide for guests during our winter season where nearby you can indulge in cross country skiing or backcountry touring. For more information on mountaineering, heli-skiing, and heli-hiking, please check our Adrenaline Rush page.
